Putting the Sub in Sub-stack: For More Essays & Bonus Episodes to come…!

And Happy (a little more than) four year anniversary to us :)

Hello to The Lavender Menace podcast listeners and Substack subscribers!

First of all, thank you so much for your support over the past four (4!!!! omg!!!) years of us creating our little indie podcast project. And thank you so much for reading and engaging with our essays that we’ve been putting out on this here Substack.

In order for us to keep making the content we’ve been putting out for years now, and with our entrance into the world of writing and publishing our essays here, we are now implementing a paid tier on our Substack!

Yes, we do already have a Patreon, and we love and appreciate our Patreon supporters dearly. Don’t worry–if you’re already a Patron, you will still be getting all of the paid-tier essays from our Substack over there. We will simply be publishing all of our paywalled content on BOTH platforms from here on out.

All of our bonus episodes (spanning back at this point, THREE YEARS of Patreon content) can be found in an unlisted playlist that you can access as a paid Substack (and of course Patreon) member. As a paying supporter of our Patreon/Substack, you get access to all 32 of these videos that span years of our friendship and conversations. From our Eras Tour reflections to gift unboxings of things we’ve sent each other over the years, these bonus episodes are really special to us. And we hope they’re entertaining and fun for you as well! We hope to be making more bonus episodes more routinely in the future, and if not bonus episodes, we will definitely be putting out paid-tier-only essays out on our Substack and Patreon.

All of our Zoom or video-recorded episodes (starting from back in 2021!) can be found in an unlisted playlist for our paid tier members as well. Our typical routine is that once an episode has been edited, we’ll post the video and audio of the episode on our Patreon about a week before the podcast episode comes out on the main feed. We will continue to do this! The only change is that now it will be sent out as a Substack paid-tier member post as well.

If you subscribe to the paid tier on our Substack or join our Patreon, you will be getting the same material. So, if you already have a Patreon account/subscription, you don’t need to make a Substack account and if you prefer Substack, you don’t have to make a Patreon account.
